In this post Beepods shares with you how customers can help BEE the change by sharing constructive feedback through multiple channels. Stay tuned in 2017 to see the new tech being developed at Beepods to save the honey bee.
At Beepods, we have been working hard to develop a clear roadmap for our customers to see what we are working on to improve the Beepods Beekeeping system over the coming years. We know that your input is vital to make sure that we are building out the best tools and features that will help the bees and make it easy for the Beepods Community to do the same. Here are some ways that you can help us speed up our progress.
Even though we are building digital tools like the Healthy Hive Management Software to make it easier for our customers to collect, save and analyze data, we still know the paper forms are useful. That’s why each year we are going to ask anyone who has participating in Beepod Inspections to send us their data (no matter what quality or state it is in).
Everyone’s inspection data serves as critical information in our feedback loop. It helps us to identify the health of your bees, how well our support mechanisms are working and where we can better support all of our customers and clients. Without EVERYONE’s feedback we may not have the complete picture. So this is an ask to send us your Inspection Form Data for 2016. Access the Healthy Hive Management Software and input your Inspections or follow the following steps to send us copies of your paper forms.

If you are currently a Beepods Customer you will have access to the Beepods Members area and the Healthy Hive Management Software. Go to the Healthy Hive Management Dashboard under your Beepods account and start manually entering inspection data from the 2016 beekeeping season. For FAQs on the Healthy Hive Management Software, click here.
Depending on the data we receive, we may follow up with a short survey or phone call to help us better understand the context of your Inspection Information.
If you need access or help with one of these processes, please, just give us a call or contact us using our contact form.
Our development team has been diligently creating an experience for our customers that fulfills the needs of learning about beekeeping, tracking information, support issues and much more. We have gotten this far thanks to quality conversations about what is important to many of you. We continue to combine feedback from you with what we know to be important to the health of your bees. That is why we want to continue these conversations in whatever way you find to be easiest to you.
We always are looking for feedback. We of course love the positive feedback, but we also need feedback on things we can do better. We have a few ways that are really great for us to hear what you have to say.
Send us an email through our general mailbox at info@beepods.com or feel free to send an email to one of our team members who you have spoken to before.
We would be excited to hear what you have to say. This way gives us a chance to ask some in depth questions. This is especially helpful if we already have something in the works for you.
We just started using this tool to help us specifically with technology features. We have a lot of great ideas, but we don’t always know which ones we should start with. Go here beepods.uservoice.com to supply your ideas and vote on some others.
We have a core group of Beepods Members who have been willing to give us some extra time here and there. Their role does come with some perks. For example, when we have a no feature or addition to the system, they ALWAYS get to try it out first. Click here to find out more about our Customer Advisory Board and requirements to join.
In 2016, we made a big effort to reach out to people who are working in the area of saving bees and sustainability, but have not been working with others. We are working to connect these individuals and organizations.
We know that helping honey bees and other pollinators is not possible alone. It takes an organized effort by swarms of people to work together to improve technology, shift policy, and educate the general public. Unfortunately, we are still a small organization and can only handle so much.
Connect us with anyone who might be interested in helping. We are always looking for volunteers, partner organizations, distributors, customers and PR help. As we grow, we are constantly looking for passionate people to join our team. If you know of anyone or want to discuss further, just contact us here.
Help us open the conversation about sustainable beekeeping in your community. We are here to create awareness and education as much as we are growing our business. Let us know if you want to talk further. Until then, take care.
