In January of 2015, a member of the Beepods Team was introduced to the University of Wisconsin-Stout Innovation Center which offers a variety of services to professional organizations in exchange for real world experience, guidance and a commitment to help with resources and grading the students on their performance.
We worked with Robert Meisner and the Industrial packaging design company to work on Beepods Packaging for shipping and retail of our Beepods Beekeeping System products. Overall, this experience was phenomenal as we learned a lot about some of the weaknesses in our approach to shipping and handling of our system products. They went through an array of shipping testing in order to create the safest and most aesthetic packaging possible for us going forward.
We were able to see the presentations of six different teams last Wednesday in Menominee, Wisconsin. Overall, we had a mix of very usable packaging to something that one might find from a multi-billion dollar customer organization. We cannot wait to share with all of our customers current and future what our selected design looks like.
This was a great opportunity for us to work with one of our Wisconsin educational institutions and create an even better customer experience for all of our customers, while helping to give future young professionals some real world experience.
Stay tuned to see the release of our new packaging design.
