Nothing says winter like sitting around a fire with a steaming cup of heaven in your hands. This is Laura’s go-to, no-fail, Hot Toddy recipe. Our Urban Honey is what makes it shine.
(all amounts are per mug)
Place water or cider in a medium sauce pan to warm. Break cinnamon stick in half (it releases the oils better that way) and add to pot with ginger slices.
While the liquid is warming, squeeze lemon juice into mug. Top with whiskey, honey, and a few drops of bitters. Leave the honey spoon in the mug.
When liquid is warm, pour through strainer into mug. Stir with honey spoon until all the ingredients have blended.
Curl up in blanket and bliss out!
