Beepods Customer Advisory Board (CAB)
Purpose: The purpose of a customer advisory board is to generate in-depth, constructive feedback on products and services Beepods offers.
Free yourself from the day to day grind and BEE a member of the Beepods Customer Advisory Board. Customer Advisory Board meetings will get you out of the office, classroom, or lab and get you away for a day so you can focus on big strategic questions. You will also hear about what other Beepods Members are facing. Come meet people who you wouldn’t ordinarily meet.
CAB Charter
The overall objectives for the Beepods Customer Advisory Board is strategic planning, long term performance and growth. As a result of these objectives, Beepods will be working with the customer to help set our future products/services direction. Our vision for the Customer Advisory Board is to have customers share how they are using our products in the “real world” and where they are going and for Beepods to share with CAB our current plans and future directions. This feedback will help build the next generation of Beepods Beekeeping System Technology and Tools.
Brief presentations are given by Beepods team members and partners who want to gauge market interest for new programs and products, discuss new initiatives within Beepods and the communities where we reside, or provide updates on focus areas considered at previous meetings. The goal is for Beepods to listen at least 80% of the time and to present less than 20% of the time. For example, after presenting ideas and gathering feedback, presenters come back at the end of the event to validate the concerns of their audience.

Frequently Asked Questions about CAB
Is this a permanent position?
No. In fact, we ask members of the CAB to set their own term limits. We ask that they are ACTIVE on the board for a minimum of at least 1 year. No maximum term limits have been set as we are just getting started, but there will be no permanent positions for anyone.
How long do the meetings typically last?
We will ask that members plan to take one business day to attend these meetings. Most likely, these meetings will not take all day, but we would like to be able to schedule quality discussions.
Where will the meetings be held?
These meetings will be held in or near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They will be a combination of conference room presentations/discussions and out at one of our bee yards. Each meeting may be in a different location or in multiple locations depending on the agenda, but we will be sure to let you know far enough in advance the agenda.
What will happen at these meetings?
The purpose of these meetings is to listen to you. We will have short presentations or workshops followed by significant facilitated discussion by you and listening on our end. We will be sure to feed you, too.
Will I be reimbursed for significant travel?
Yes. We know that travel expenses can be significant and we like to take as much STING out of the travel, as possible.
