This mini-beepod holds full honey bars made by the bees in summer to be returned as food to the Beepod Vented Top Bar Hive during the winter months. It also serves as a starter box for a new colony, swarm or split that is captured. Finally, it is used to transfer bees for load balancing, queen rearing and honey between locations.
