The newest revision of our Top Bar Hive is now sized to fit 19" Langstroth length frame bars (with slight alterations) The new Beepod uses 3/4in hole entrances rather than the big sliding door entry that the bees glued tight with propolis. We've added new "pop" fittings to the shutters, lid and access doors. Also new Stainless and Zinc hardware giving it longer life, greater durability and a better fit.

New vented easy-lift Top Bars are same size as Langstroth bars (19in) come pre-dipped in Beeswax and have patent-pending vent ribs

Each Beepod is dipped in ECOwood® organic compound that changes the properties of the wood, making it grey and age without rotting

Beepod ships with cradle pre-assembled. Customer must bolt-on legs with 5mm bolts and tool supplied. No saws, drills, nails or glue, just the 5mm allen wrench we provide and in less than an hour, you can have the Beepod ready for welcoming in new bees.

Beepod Kits ship via UPS in a large (24"x24"x42")shipping box with the cradle assembled and all the hardware, legs and instructions inside. Additional items, like veils, smokers, brushes and the hive tool can be shipped along inside for a small weight-related upcharge.
